D&C 51:9 

And let every man deal honestly, and be alike among this people, and receive alike, that ye may be one, even as I have commanded you 

Activity 

Today, we are going to play a game. Print 1 copy of the board game below and 7 copies of the cards. If you would prefer to use a spinner, you could create one by clicking here. Make game pieces out of small pieces of paper, beans, or game pieces from other games. Place all of the 

pieces next to the one. Draw cards or spin the spinner to determine how many spaces to move. The first player to reach 100, wins! Offer a treat to the winner. 

Talk About It 

How would you have felt if (the winner) had cheated to win? Ask the people who didn't win, how it felt to lose. 

Play Again 

This time, play cooperatively. Place one piece next to the one. Everyone spins the spinner or draws cards to advance your piece. Continue until you all reach 100, together. Give a treat to everyone, when they win. 

Talk About It 

How was it different when we were all working together, as one? 

Explain 

The scriptures tell us in D&C that we should all be honest with other people and treat each other equally. When working by ourselves, there is only one winner, just like there was only one winner in our first round. When we do as D&C 51:9 says and "be alike among this people, and receive alike" we can be equal and one. Then everyone wins and benefits, just like we all won
