FHE for D&C 109-110

 Read or Summarize D&C 109

You can read it here, Doctrine and Covenants 109

Tell your children that this was the prayer given at the dedication of the Kirtland Temple. As you read it, look for things that can help you get excited about spending more time in the temple, as the things said in that prayer applies to temple work today.

For younger children you can ask them how they can help temple work continue, even if they are too young to go into the temple. Some examples might be babysitting while Mom and Dad go to the temple, finding names of deceased relatives that need temple work done, and learning about their ancestors.

Maybe you could take a trip to a temple and sing "I Love to See the Temple" and "The Spirit of God" as you look at the temple. "The Spirit of God" is sung at every temple dedication.
