D&C 64:33

Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great.

Activity

Get a small, kids puzzle that has a few pieces to it, or you could assemble a bigger puzzle and set a few pieces aside at the end. Ask your children for ideas of things they can do to lay the foundation for the Lord’s work. Write their ideas on small pieces of paper, and tape them to the back of the puzzle pieces. Explain that just as the puzzle is incomplete without these pieces, each of these things are helpful, but the Lord’s work cannot be complete, unless all of the pieces are working together.
