We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We will post weekly family home evening videos and other ideas of how to have family home evenings in your home on our youtube channel. Materials for these Family Home Evenings will be listed here, just in case you would like to join along or use them in your own family home evenings. We have 6 young children, so you will see how family home evenings work out perfectly, and not so perfectly, but they are always worth it!

Doctrine and Covenants 42:61.
61 If thou shalt ask, thou shalt receive revelation upon revelation, knowledge upon knowledge, that thou mayest know the mysteries and peaceable things—that which bringeth joy, that which bringeth life eternal
Activity
Find something you could do to teach how God reveals His mysteries—“revelation upon revelation, knowledge upon knowledge.” Family members could share how God has revealed truth to them a little at a time.
One thing that we have done to help our children begin this foundation of a testimony is to work on teaching them The Articles of Faith. Teaching them what each one means is helpful to helping them have meaning to their memorization. The Articles of Faith are modern revelation and knowledge, and they can be used to help others gain an understanding of the basic principles of the gospel. Click on the picture below to see the truths that have been revealed to us, through the first 6 Articles of Faith.
This lesson focusses on how we are one with Christ, as a family.
